Hello Everyone,
Thank you for being on our Mailing List and welcome to
those who have joined us since the last Newsletter.
The Lateshift has added thirty new cards since the
last Newsletter and we are working on a Christmas section now. There
are ten new Christmas Cards up at the moment and we will be adding more.
In response to requests, we have added some more family
cards and a few 'Good Night' and 'Good Morning' cards .... more to
follow. There are some autumn scenes and more animals ~ bears,
zebra, horses, dogs and cats ~ and Liz has added some more of her popular
Special Effect cards.
There are some new flowers and a few more
sunsets in our Free Photographs and some really nice geese in the
bird section.
Blaikiewell Animal Sanctuary
There is sad news from the Sanctuary this week.
Daisy, who featured on this page in September, has died after a short but
incurable illness. She was a favourite little pony and we shall all
miss her. Our vet kept her out of pain with drugs and she
spent her last day with her friends in her own field.

On a happier note, the Sanctuary animals found a new
sponsor in Aileen Brown who has 'adopted' Goblin and
Clyde.
Aileen was bridesmaid at her sister's wedding and the sponsorship was her chosen
present from the bride and groom, Moira and Alan Marson. Donations like
these are a big help towards the feeding of the animals in winter.
Horse of the month is Santos
He
is one of the most gentle and sensible horses I have ever known and is a
great favourite with all who meet him. He had an eye surgically removed last
year after it became painful from an old injury. He made an
excellent recovery and is still lightly ridden when we need a extra
specially safe and reliable horse for a nervous beginner.
